Must read

Texas Tech plays in the Big 12 Conference, one of the best Division I basketball leagues in the country. Currently, there are 10 teams that make up this conference, with six playing football and four playing basketball. Every team has different challenges throughout the season but one constant is how tough Conference play can be. The Big 12 Conference has two identical half-season tournaments for its member schools. One is a winter tournament and one is an indoor tournament.

These tournaments are used to keep all of their teams as fresh as possible before they face off against one another once again during postseason play. In years past, these tournaments have been held at neutral sites while other events are being held at the same time, such as Super Bowls or Final Four games. However, this year they will be taking place on campus while the regular season games are being played there too. The first game of the men’s tournament took place last night and today’s final match will wrap it all up later tonight.
